The broad objective of the Master’s Programme in Business Analytics is to prepare graduate students for productive careers in industry or academia by providing an outstanding environment for teaching and research in both core and emerging areas of business analytics. The programme places a strong emphasis on providing students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications in analytics, data science, and business intelligence. It has been structured with a semester-based approach to ensure a progressive and holistic learning experience.
Eligibility: Any Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 (three) year duration from a recognized university, with Mathematics as one of the subjects either at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level.
Medium of Instruction: English
Duration: Minimum 2 years and Maximum 4 years; offered in both January and July cycles of admission.
Fee Structure: Rs. 52,000/- for the full programme, to be paid semester-wise @ Rs. 13,000/- per semester.
Programme Details:
The programme is divided into two semesters per year (January–June and July–December). Accordingly, two examinations are held every year—one in June for the January to June semester courses, and another in December for the July to December semester courses. Students may appear in any examination conducted by IIMTC during the year, subject to fulfilling the minimum time frame and other formal requirements of the programme.
